Bettina Drummond spent 17 years in training with Master Oliveira, beginning at age seven. The bulk of her formative years was spent in Portugal with Master Oliveira where she had the opportunity to develop her riding and training skills with the help talented equine teachers, photo of which you can find in this section on her Formation in Portugal. During that formation, Bettina earned the coveted spurs awarded to instructors at 17, and was recognized as a master trainer at 21.
